MSc mode is over, hello work! *sigh*

Okay, so have this gazillion things in my head that I would like to say, I would like to share, I would like to write. But this is very much like me, once I open this page, my head goes blank. Why oh why? Duh... okie dokie, why don't I begin with my latest news? Well, I have recently graduated from my MSc programme in USM. Alhamdulillah! Jazakallahu khairan! Finally, I've made it. I couldn't be more happier with this but most importantly, I couldn't be more thankful. Alhamdulillah =) Here are some of the photos I took during the big day:-

My family and I, with my youngest sister, Ruhamaa' being our photographer =)

My classmates and I, after the ceremony in Dewan Tuanku Syed Putra, USM

My classmates and I again, after the convocation ceremony with Sha's father (whom is the School of Pharmacy's dean)

So, now I'm back to work as usual. But it wasn't that smooth since I had a fever and am still in recovery mode. Insya Allah, I'll be back at work this Monday, so business is back! But to be honest, I love studying. I do. If that makes me a nerd, then that's who I am. I guess I can't help it. I just love attending classes, having chats in between the classes and during lunch breaks. Yeah2, of course getting assignments and tests and labs and exams are no fun, but that's a part of life being students now, isn't it? Not to mention, I'm lucky enought to have a very close friend whom I can share many thoughts on. Miza, I'm glad we're in the same class, mate! =)

*sigh* to be honest, I have so many other things to share here but seriously I can't figure them out at the mo'. Thus, forgive me. Insya Allah will be posting more often from now on hehehe =) That's all for now. Adios!

MSc mode~~~

Oh my GOD! It's been almost a year since I actually make my usual pit stops here. Wow!!! Oh well, life has been hectic for me. Yes, who would have reckon if ones serving in the government sector would lead such a busy life. Not entirely depressing but busy all the same.

Well, firstly around May, mum was unwell. She was in hospital for nearly 2 months. Yes... my life was upside down. A total chaos. Nevertheless alhamdulillah Allah s.w.t has given mum and I another chance. Mum is doing really well these days despite her regular visits to the dialysis centre. All in all, it ends well somehow :-)

After that, I was booked and hooked with emceeing in many events for my department. Be it big or small, my partner and I were hooked. And finally, my big day came along. Noooo not my wedding. Not yet anyhow. My admission to my MSc programme in USM. Yes, I made it in. Alhamdulillah :-) who would have known? I didn't expect to get a place but somehow I did. Well... now I'm already in my week 9, aka mid sem break. How time flies!!! Life as a student is definitely different but worth it all the same. My fellow classmates though significantly younger than me, keeps me entertained all the time. Thanks mates!!! Glad to have you all in my life.

I'm doing environment engineering at the mo'. Not that complicated but tedious though. I've got loads of complaint but still I'm doing it :-) I reckon this is it. Here's praying for a successful MSc in a year time! Insya Allah~~~

Later!!!

Improvement!

Oh my God! This month is probably one of my busiest month ever! I have to attend meetings for this grand event in my organization, and then what's with my secret mission and helping my sister with hers, I'm a busy busy bee! However, I'm happy with the whole situation. No pressure, just tired. There are times when I'm just too tired or just stressed out that I felt like screaming (which I did to let out my steam), and yes, I've cried a couple of times too. Somehow I hope for a miracle to happen. A great miracle that will change my life for the better. Not that I'm not happy with my life right now. I'm actually too happy to even change a bit of it, but there's always room for improvement right? So, that's my goal. Improvement, improving whatever I have right now. For the bettermen of life and happiness. All in all hehehe~ Actually, I have nothing to do. Well, I have books to finish but too lazy to do it. So, till then. Good luck to me!

Writing Novels

I just looooveeee reading novels. My favourite genres ranging from romance, adventure, and thriller. You'll find loads of Julie Garwood's, JK Rowling's, and Dan Brown's at every corner of my house. And my ofice. And my bed (guilty as charged). It's an addiction, though my liking for romantic stories are going downhill in the fastest mode. However, other genres are hiking up, so I love novels just the same. So this get me into thinking, since I love it so much, why don't I wrote one? Yeah, why not? How hard can it be? Now, honestly, I don't know what to write. Yap. What genres, what kind of stories really appeal to me and would be catchy enough for others to read? I'm not looking to be the next Rowling, no no no. If I'm lucky enough, bingo! But not that kind of expectation. Definitely not.  The thing is, sometimes I am blooming with ideas, and some other times I am very much empty-headed.  The air-headedness strike me mostly when I'm sitting down, ready to write down ideas or something. The ideas always come at the wrong time, especially before sleeping. Click! That's it! I'll have small notebooks @ bedside, @ the office, in my pockets etc.  And I'll keep writing down any ideas that crossed my mind. Vamos!

Aummmmmmmm!!!!

So, what about it then? I'm talking about Harimau Malaya, our football team, whom at the mo' is playing against Indonesia in Jakarta for the second leg of the finals in AFF Suzuki Cup 2010. Since we made it into the finals this year with impressive play, I must say that almost every single Malaysian is an avid fan of football. You don't believe me. Check out your fb now. Mine's flooded with goaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllll scream just a few minutes ago when Malaysia scored. Not to mention all the gatherings @ mamak stalls with big screen, everyone's eyes fixed on it, plus the unusual serenity in front of my house tonight! Usually, thera are so many people wandering around, driving, and riding in front of our home but not tonight. Everybody's watching the game, the EPIC finale live on TV1.

It's an epidemic, and boy it's a good one. Finally, I don't have to give lame excuses on my choice of favourite sports =)

OMG!

Yeah... the title speaks for itself. It's been what, three solid months that I've been away from my blogs. But then again, here I am. Well... I've been busy. And there's so many things that happened to me and my family. Well, my sister lost her lappy, her stupid friend nick it under her nose. Yes yes... tragic. But mine's more tragic! I lost my lappy due to a flood that happened on Nov. 1st 2010. It was horrible, and yes, second time after 2005. This time I lost my lappy, thanks to my ignorant sister. Sorry I have to say that but you were~ but all in all, it has happened and I lost my lappy. Not a happy mo' for me. Now she bought herself a new one and here I am typing away! heheheh~ well... to be honest, I'm not no much in need of a notebook anyway, 'tis just a way of life nowadays. but there are several things on my wish list for 2011. Here it is:-

  1. FAD
  2. New notebook - preferably an ASUS or VAIO
  3. A new handphone - still a tug war between iPhone4 or Blackberry
  4. A full set of new wardrobe
  5. Knee length boot
  6. A full set of new books to pore my nose into!
Well... so far, that's that. I am actually now more into books than gazing up to my computer/laptop. And, my current raves are reading historical figures or events. I'm reading now books like Mein Kampf and Napoleon, plus about our beloved prophet, Muhammad S.A.W. I'm going to find more books about him and about wars of the world. I don't know why, but I find them far more enjoyable than reading novels these days. Signs of aging? Nah..... just getting mature whilst still looking fabulous as usuals! Hahahah~ well, there's my intro after three months. I will put up some more of my writings in here later on. Oh, btw, I'm on my annual week-offs this week. How time flew! I hate it that it's Wednesday already. Dreaded for work. That's why FAD is on top of my wish list for 2011. I need FAD so badly, only Allah knows how much! Alrighty... I have to go now. Till then, have a great and blessed week everyone! Ta-ta! =)

Hoooo yeahhhh~

Fellas, good day to all of you. Well, this place is full of cobwebs at the moment, meaning I was off this blog for quite sometime. Firstly, I was really busy at work. Secondly, it is also Ramadhan, the holy month. That is important. Well, thirdly, I'm on a mission. It's not impossible but tiring. Just wish me luck okay?

In the meantime, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all of you my readers, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir & batin. May this raya bring us more joy & happiness, and togetherness amongst our family and friends. I'm counting days btw, haha ;-)
See you!!! =)
